Jennifer D. Dobbs is the Director of Cultural Affairs for the City of Montgomery and oversees the Office of Cultural Affairs and the City Events, Armory Learning Arts Center, Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, and Montgomery City-County Public Library departments. In her previous position as Executive Director for ArtsBridge Foundation, Jennifer raised millions, expanded outreach, implemented new programming, set new strategic direction, and more. She received national recognition and was named a 2023 Social Impact Woman to Watch by NonproftHR; statewide recognition as one of Georgia’s top 500 leaders in the 2023 Georgia Trend Magazine, recognition as a 2019 Woman of Achievement award from liveSAFE Resources, and was featured as a “Maker” in the June 2019 Atlanta Magazine, while ArtsBridge received six Southeast Emmy® Awards for “Special Event Live Coverage” of the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards and the inaugural Atlanta Inno 50on Fire Award under her leadership.
Jennifer graduated with a B.A. in English/ Writing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, a MPA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership in 2003 from Gannon University and is completing her PhD in Public Policy and Administration.
Amongst her community involvement with various charities and organizations, Jennifer was a charter member and the inaugural Chair of the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) which implemented groundbreaking granting programs and was a member of the elite Pennsylvania Society.
Jennifer is a devoted mother to three adult children, Xavier, Roman, and Isis, and a proud grandmother to twin granddaughters Presley Rose and Peyton Lilly and their little sister, Piper Violet.
