How Can You Make a Gift?
A cash gift to the Library can support the work we do in many ways. Gifts are used to buy books, purchase materials needed for our children's programs, improve library technology, and support the Library in many areas. Simply make checks payable to the Montgomery City-County Public Library.
Memorial and Honor Books
Memorial and Honor Books allow you to commemorate someone special. Commemorate a birthday, retirement, anniversary, or graduation, or recognize the death of a friend or relative. With your contribution, the Library will purchase appropriate materials and insert specially designed commemorative plates in the material. Each gift is acknowledged with a card to the donor and to the honoree, or in the case of a memorial, to his or her family.
Will / Living Trust
Make a gift by bequest through your will or living trust. For information about how to include the Library in your estate plans, call Library Administration at (334) 625-4300, or speak with your personal estate planner.
Gifts of stock can provide donors considerable tax advantages. Contact your investment advisor for information on how to donate stock to the Library.
The Library welcomes donations of books and other materials. The Library reserves the right to decide the disposition of all gifts received. Materials accepted for addition to the Library’s collection become the property of the Montgomery City-County Public Library and will be placed where most appropriate. Material not utilized in the Library’s collection will be stored for use in our semi-annual book sales.
All gifts to the Montgomery City-County Public Library are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Checks should be made payable to Montgomery City-County Library. Donations may be made directly to your branch library, or, if you prefer, you can mail your donation to:
