-This is not a class, but an open meeting of knitters, crochet lovers, hand sewers or other fiber crafters. Feel free to bring any handcraft!

 

-Our first meeting will be on January 10th.

 

-Feel free to bring any "show and tell” pieces you would like to share with the group!

Computer Lab Hours and Information
The Internet and more is offered in our Computer Lab, located on the second floor of the Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library of the Montgomery City-County Public Library.
 
The computer lab was established in 1998 with a gift from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The lab and computer equipment are supported today through funding by the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery County Commission, the Library Services and Technology Act, and the federal e-rate program. Join us and learn to use: Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and more.

Play & Sing-a-long Day

We will read Tanka Tanka Skunkby Steve Webb.  Stamp your feet to the Skunka Tanka beat!  Tanka and Skunk uses words to make rhythm and sounds.  We will also read Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons by Eric Litwin and illustrated by James Dean.  Pete the cat loves the buttons on his shirt so much that he makes up a song about them, and even as the buttons pop off, one by one, he still finds a reason to sing.  We will have an activity.

We will read Wheels on the bus by Maryabb Kovalski.  While grandmother and grandchildren wait for the bus, they sing the title song with such gusto they miss their bus.  We will also read The Wheels on the Race Car by Alexander Zane and illustrated by James Warhola.  Animal race car drivers roar around the track.  Text based on the popular song, The Wheels on the Bus.
