Senior Tech appointments
Call 271-7005 to reserve an appointment.
Sessions will be one-on-one by appointment only for a maximum of one hour.  The type of training will depend on your needs.  Tell us what you want to learn!  Training includes basic computer skills, some Microsoft Office programs, email, eBooks, help with the mouse, or any of our digital catalogs.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Register now for this powerful program geared toward boosting your infant’s brain power.  Simply read to your child, birth to kindergarten, every day with the goal of having read 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten.  You will keep track of each book read, and your child will receive a reward after every 100 books read.  Find out more about this new program at the Coliseum Boulevard Branch Library.

Tinkering Table
We will have our annual take apart day.  We will use tools to take items apart and then pick and choose which materials may be useful for our Rube Goldberg Machines that we will build in July. The Tinkering Table is for Elementary age.

Join us as we hear a story about space, do some space-related activities, and do a super spacecraft.

Big Mo from Biscuits Baseball
Join Big Mo as he reads us a story and does some of his fancy dancing.  He will also be available for the children to meet and have individual pictures made. Big Mo will also be introducing a special reading program.  All participants will receive bookmarks to track their reading with information on how this program works.  All that complete the program will receive a free ticket to the Biscuits game July 30, and an opportunity to march in the parade at the end of the game.
*Remember to turn in your Summer Reading Program Reading Logs anytime this week and Montgomery Biscuits Bookmarks.
Parent Pre-school Activity Center
This table changes once a month.  We will have a new activity to enhance the five senses and further develop your child’s thought processes.  This table has activities where parent and child explore together.
We have an adult level puzzle on a table at all times. Come and help put our community puzzles together.
