The Internet and more is offered in our Computer Lab, located on the second floor of the Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library of the Montgomery City-County Public Library.  The computer lab was established in 1998 with a gift from the Gates Library Foundation. The lab and computer equipment are supported today through funding by the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery County Commission, the Library Services and Technology Act, and the federal e-rate program.
Join us and learn to use:  Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and more.

Monday through Wednesday:  9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday and Friday:  9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday:  9:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Sunday:  2:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Tuesday adult classes are held on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of the month at 10:00 a.m.
March 7, 2017 – Internet Basics/E-Mail Basics - An introduction to the Internet and how to attach and send documents, images, and more using e-mail.

March 14, 2017– Microsoft Word 2010 - Learn how to create simple documents, edit and format text, correct spelling, adjust margins, save, print and open files in Microsoft Word 2010.

March 21, 2017– Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 - Learn the basic features for creating a dynamic PowerPoint (slide show) presentation. This software is widely used in the workplace and in educational settings.

The first Saturday of every month is for 1st-4th Grades 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM  and 5th-8th Grades 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM
March 4, 2017 – PowerPoint I (MS Office 2010)
Students will learn basic functions of this program to create presentations, including adding graphics and multimedia.

Saturday adult classes are held on the third Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
March 18, 2017 – Microsoft Excel 2010 - Learn how to create home budgets, customized records, and charts on a spreadsheet.
