The Internet and more is offered in our Computer Lab, located on the second floor of the Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library of the Montgomery City-County Public Library.  The computer lab was established in 1998 with a gift from the Gates Library Foundation. The lab and computer equipment are supported today through funding by the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery County Commission, the Library Services and Technology Act, and the federal e-rate program.
Join us and learn to use:  Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and more.

Monday through Wednesday:  9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday and Friday:  9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday:  9:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Sunday:  2:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Tuesday adult classes are held on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of the month at 10:00 a.m.
June 6, 2017 – Internet for Beginners- Students learn how to access the Internet and surf the Web.

June 13, 2017– Microsoft Word 2010 - Microsoft Word is used to create documents and letters. this course covers basic features such as tabs and scrolling. Students learn to enter and select text, double space, and print. Word Art and Clip Art are also covered.

June 20, 2017– Microsoft Publisher 2010 - This is a desktop publishing program used to create specialty items such as greeting cards, flyers, brochures, calendars and many more home or business related publications.  Students will learn how to use templates, insert and edit clipart, and many other features to help you create desktop publications.

June 27, 2017– Microsoft PowerPoint I 2010 - Students will learn basic functions of this program to create presentations, including adding graphics and multimedia.

The first Saturday of every month is for 1st-4th Grades 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM  and 5th-8th Grades 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM
June 3, 2017 – Excel I (MS Office 2010)
Students will learn how to create a simple budget with borders, clip art and word art.

Saturday adult classes are held on the third Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
June 17, 2017 – PowerPoint I (MS Office 2010) - Students will learn to use different slide layouts, transitions, and animations to create a basic slide show.
