The Internet and more is offered in our Computer Lab, located on the second floor of the Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library of the Montgomery City-County Public Library.  The computer lab was established in 1998 with a gift from the Gates Library Foundation. The lab and computer equipment are supported today through funding by the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery County Commission, the Library Services and Technology Act, and the federal e-rate program.
Join us and learn to use:  Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and more.

Monday through Wednesday:  9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday and Friday:  9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday:  9:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Sunday:  2:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Tuesday adult classes are held on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of the month at 10:00 a.m.
May 3, 2016 – Internet for Beginners
Hands-on class about the characteristics of the Internet, navigation and simple searching, and use of search engines. We will also discuss Internet safety.
May 10, 2016 – Word I (MS Office 2010)
Learn he proper way to compose an e-mail. We will also discuss how to attach letters, and pictures to your e-mail.

May 17, 2016 – Excel I (MS Office 2010)

Students will learn how to create a simple budget with borders, clip art and word art.

The first Saturday of every month is for 1st-4th Grades 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM  and 5th-8th Grades 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM
May 7, 2016 – Publisher I (MS Office 2010)
Students will learn how to create various publications, such as newsletters, flyers, and greeting cards.

Saturday adult classes are held on the third Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
May 21, 2016 – Excel I & II (MS Office 2010)
This introductory class will cover how to format cells and manipulate data to create simple spreadsheets. The second half of the class will be on how to work with formulas and adding graphs.
