The Internet and more is offered in our Computer Lab, located on the second floor of the Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library of the Montgomery City-County Public Library.  The computer lab was established in 1998 with a gift from the Gates Library Foundation. The lab and computer equipment are supported today through funding by the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery County Commission, the Library Services and Technology Act, and the federal e-rate program.
Join us and learn to use:  Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and more.

Monday through Wednesday:  9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday and Friday:  9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday:  9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Sunday:  2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday adult classes are held on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of the month at 10:00 a.m.

Learn to create, format, and edit documents.
October 8, 2019 – MS Word 2016 (Part 2)
Learn various editing features that allow you to effectively revise documents. Explore ways to quickly copy and move text.

October 15, 2019 – MS Word 2016 (Part 3)
Make your document stand out! Learn how to change the style and effect of text. Discover additional formatting techniques that can be applied to document paragraphs.
October 22, 2019 – MS Word 2016 (Part 4)
Now that you understand the basics of Microsoft Word, go a step further to learn the art of using graphics/clip art, tables, and columns to turn your document into an eye-catching professional masterpiece.


The first Saturday of every month is for 1st-4th Grade 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM  and 5th-8th Grade 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM
October 5, 2019 – MS Word 2016
Participants will learn about the parts of the Word window and learn how to cut, copy, and paste text.

Saturday adult classes are held on the third Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.

October 19, 2019 – MS Word 2016 (Parts I & II)
Participants will learn about the parts of the Word window and practice formatting and editing text. Participants will also learn how to Cut, Copy, and Paste text, as well as how to save a Word document. There will also be a section on setting tabs, margins, and columns.
